I've been working on internal-combustion powered vehicles and machines for over 40 years now. I
specialize in ‘rescuing’ vehicles which have been languishing for years, and getting them up and
running again, or at least evaluating them for you to determine if they can even be brought back to
life?
I can come to you, with my equipment and know-how, and save you hundreds of dollars, if not thousands,
evaluating and getting your machine to run again. I’ll bring the battery, fuel, tools, diagnostic
equipment, and if need be, I have my own car trailer and can bring the rig back into our shop, if we
need to, for the necessary repairs.
Speaking of which; I can transport your vehicle for you as well, if you need it taken out of your
yard/driveway/wherever and delivered to the location you choose.
I charge a $100 service call in the Eugene area + 1 hour minimum labor rate @ $125 / hour. That is
a $225 minimum, and the one hour often gets your vehicle diagnosed and running, without you having to
go anywhere or arrange a tow. This can dramatically increase the value of your vehicle, taking it from
status of ‘Yard Eyesore’ to ‘Collectible Antique’.
I can also help you sell your vehicle, if that is your intention. I've been selling vehicles on the
internet/ locally for over 25 years and know how to get these things done.
I'll work on most anything pre-ODB, I specialize in things with carburetors or diesel powered.
I probably do not want to do any ‘long term’ jobs like rebuilding your engine or restoring your
classic, my real interest lies in swooping in, getting that old thing up and running and moving again,
then bouncing out of there to my next appointment. That being said, we can always talk about your needs
after the evaluation.
